Like a Little Child...

The aging process has you firmly in its grasp if you never get the urge to throw a snowball.
Doug Larson

I found this quote and I thought that it fit for jumping in puddles as well! We had a little rain and Isabella was all excited to get out into the water! She wanted to fish and from the picture it looks like she caught something!!Posted by Hello

Beautiful Sunday Afternoon

We had lunch after church Sunday at a friends house. They have this fish pond and waterfall that they made in their front yard. Isabella loved watching and feeding the "huge 'ishies"! Our church in Weiser, ID has really opened their arms to us. Every Sunday we have a different family invite us over for lunch and get to know us. We have been able to share what our plans are with a lot of people in a personal way as well as get to know many people better then we would have if we just saw them at church. We thank God for the oppurtunity that he has given us to make as many friends that we have. Posted by Hello

Eastward Bound!

We went to the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center the other day. It is built on a bluff overlooking the beautiful Baker Valley (seen behind us). You can actually see parts of the original Oregon trail still. It is a pretty interesting place to check out, if you like history that is. The Oregon trail started in Independence, MO and ended in Oregon City, OR. As we were getting this "way cool" picture taken in an old wagon we realized that we are in the process of planning the reverse trip. In the next few months we will be packing up all of our stuff and moving eastward from Oregon to Missouri. Thankfully it won't take us almost six months to make the journey like it did the pioneers of old, but it is still going to be quite the trip. Please keep us in your prayers. Posted by Hello

Addicted!!

We are trying to break Isabella's addiction to her "binki". She is now only allowed to have it when she is in bed, but she always ended up with it at random times during the day if we weren't watching. To stop that our friend Grant suggested that we hide all the "binkis" until bed-time and tie one to the bed for use during the day. If she is in desperate need of a "binki" during the day she can sit in bed and use that one. One day I was on working on the computer and I looked up and saw this! Pretty desperate but totally cute!! The sad thing it that she didn't even make it to the bed! She just crashed on the floor! Posted by Hello
