We are on a trip...

My boss has left town for the next week and so Jen and I decided to take a trip. We are in Waukesha, Wisconsin. This was our first home as a married couple. It has been alot of fun just walking around campus and seeing what is new and what hasn't changed. We have some really good friends who are on staff here so we are staying with them for the week. Brian and Julie were staff with us in Baker, and so it has been good to catch up with them. I don't know what if I will be able to post pictures while I am here, but if I can I will show you what the school looks like and other cool stuff!

July 15th = 5th Anniversary!!!

Yes, as hard as it may be to imagine, we have been married now for 5 whole years!! Our anniversary happened to be on a Friday, so I took most of the day off and we spent the weekend as a family just relaxing. We just had a meal at home, with sparkling cider and all the other "neccesities" of a special dinner. Thank-you to all of you who have been praying for us for the past many years, and please don't stop now!!

At the Lake

Hey everyone...I was being told that it was time to update! So here we are on the lake. We live on the other side of the lake but we made up a picinic lunch and canoed over to eat it. There are places to eat on our side, but getting into a boat adds adventure to the trip! We keep looking for turtles, but haven't seen one yet. I guess that there are good size snapping turtles, I will post a pic if we ever see one!

"Hello, hello, anyone there?"

Isabella loves it at our new home. We have a little area in front of our house that she can play in. There are frogs, turtles, "itsy bitsy spiders" (huge ones) and lighting bugs that she runs around and sees. Every few minutes she runs up to the door and peeks in, just to make sure that she can still see us!

Our Beast of a Trailer

This is our trailer and our loaded down car. (You can see how close our trunk is to the ground.) We had no problems pulling this beast all the way from Oregon. I had never pulled a trailer for any lenght of time so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. Thank-you to all who were praying for us.
