The Dredge

Our family at the "Dredge" in beautiful Eastern Oregon. The Dredge was used in the 50's to mine gold. It is actually a large boat that sits in a self-made pond. It dug out the ground in front of it, took out the gold and dropped the left-over rocks behind it. As it did all this, it moved the pond and itself with it. There are over 8 sq. miles of torn up ground from what this machine did. It makes for an interesting day, and when it is as nice as it was this day, then well worth the trip. Come and visit us and we'll show it to you. Posted by Hello

Hey! I didn't know you guys had a website! We have one too, you should check it out. How old is your little girl? My little boy, Chesley, is 16 months old now. So what are you guys up to? We're in M.I. training right now in Durham. It was cool to get your e-mail, thanks for the update!
