Praise Praise Praise

Ok...this will be a longer post...bear with me...it is worth it!
As many of you know, our summer didn't go really according to our plan. We moved to Missouri two months early, planning on working like crazy in order to make enough money for our year of school. The jobs didn't work out. I was getting a bit discouraged, but I knew that we were here for a reason, I just didn't know what that reason was!
A few weeks ago we went to Waukesha, Wisconsin to visit some friends and to get out of the house for a while. With very few people on campus Jen was getting a little lonely. While we were in Waukesha some amazing things took place. We visited a family in the area that we got to be friends with when we were students and they offered to let us have the baby at their house. (For those of you who don't know...Jennifer is expecting...and the baby is due on December 24th!) We had our Isabella at "home" and were hoping to do the same thing with this baby, but mid-wives are illegal here in Missouri. Well, there are some exceptions, but none that we saw as real options...
After our friends offered to let us have our baby there, Jen started immediatly looking for mid-wives in the Waukesha area. She found a few, but one really stands out. This lady is a christian, she is close to the house where we will be having the baby. She is on good terms with a Christian doctor in the local hospital, so if we do need to go to the hospital, then she has a contact.
All this "fell" into place while we were just visiting friends. If I had my "good" job, then we would have never taken time to go visit Wisconsin, and all these things wouldn't have happened. God has an amazing way of having things work out!
The mid-wife is going to cost 1,500 dollars, so that is a big prayer request. She usually expects the money up front...about a month before the baby is due. She said that she might be able to make an exception for us...but we would like to honor her request and have the money ready on time if at all possible. So we would ask everyone to pray. After this story we are confident that God has it all worked out and we just need to trust him.
